Legacy Binder Course

Empowerment class that teaches how to advocate in our civic system. Perfect for churches, non-profits and those getting back on their feet. All encompassing workshop: where to file, how to document, what is abuse or fraud, what government agencies can help, how to dress for court, how to behave with police, where to find legal aid, where are self help forms and more.

6 hours

Civil literacy P.O.W.E.R. workshop

Like the P.O.W.E.R. workshop but shorter. This class is great for homeschooler, high schoolers, those new to this country, and those from disadvantaged communities where civics/government literacy was not apart of basic education, like Nevada.

More than “how to memorize a citizenship test,” this course teaches you how to access the resources already promised to us. A civic-navigation course condensed into 3 hours. Think honors civics meets hands on “how to”.

Subject Matter Expert & Teacher

After I completed my degree in Legal Studies in 2006, I moved back to Nevada where I continued working under attorneys. By 2008, I had experience in civil litigation, bankruptcy, immigration, estate planning and family law. I love research and finding thing others don’t care to find, for example: “where is the law, and what does it actually say?”.

by 2007, I was helping a lot of people in coffee shops and on kitchen tables, which led me to opened my petition preparation clinic in Carson City in 2008.

Since then, I have become a farmer. I no longer prepare legal documents, I now teach.

28 U.S.C. § 1654

“In all courts of the United States the parties may plead and conduct their own cases personally or by counsel…”

You have a right to advocate for yourself.

The Fine Print

My classes are to empower people. if you think you need an attorney, you do.

I am not an attorney, nor do I appear to be one.

White Papers

My research papers illustrating the disparity of civil literacy amongst disadvantaged socioeconomic communities, and the active consequences, especially in my own community.
